A lovely couple came in with her original wedding set which had 4 princess cut diamonds in a cluster center setting and her diamond from her grandmother, who she was very close with. We created a beautiful new engagement ring for her using her grandmother's diamond as one of the side stones.
We matched it to make another side stone and a stunning oval center finished this perfect "past, present, and future" themed ring.
She wanted a thin yellow gold shank on the engagement ring. We made a yellow gold band to go with her gorgeous new ring using 4 of her original princess cut diamonds and added 3 more.
After they were soldered together, she has her own personal history on her hand; her grandmother's diamond, diamonds from her original set in the band, and a beautiful new oval diamond for their future.
