Bulova

Since 1875, Bulova has proudly stood its ground in American innovation. At the young age of 24, Joseph Bulova emigrated from Bohemia and took a chance by opening a small shop on Maiden Lane in New York City. During that time, he quickly carved a niche for his business and distinguished himself from most of the other jewelers in the area through quality, innovation, and artistry. Joseph transformed how pocket watches were worn and seen during that time period, while also working to establish a place in the burgeoning market of wristwatches that were on the cusp of becoming so popular. Over the following years, Bulova branched out and began a boudoir and table clocks line. And now, 136 years later, Bulova still stands tall; shining with the same level of creativity and risk-taking ethos it did back then.
